Sylvan Lake State Park near Eagle offers free firewood

EAGLE, Colorado ? This fall, free firewood is available at Sylvan Lake State Park near Eagle. The wood was cut last year during a project to remove hazardous trees infested by mountain pine beetles. The wood is primarily lodgepole pine and the trees have been cut into 3- to 6-foot logs.
