More people are heating with firewood this year

Zach Searcy stood in the back of his truck Saturday and threw pieces of firewood to his girlfriend, Alisa Piatt. Searcy, a Fayetteville firewood salesman, was in the process of unloading a half-cord - about a pick-up truckload - of maple, cherry and oak logs to one of his many new customers.
